| Characters of Forged AI Mold |
With the successful development and improvement of steel tread, Himile developed forged Al tread, since compared with precision Al casting tread, forged Al is with the following characters,
| 1.Compactiveness |
Higher compactiveness without air bubbles, dispersed shrinkage and slag inclusion. |

| 2.Tread |
Made by special processing techniques, forged Al mold has better uniformity and accuracy than cast Al mold, and its TIR is under 0.2mm. |

| 3.Mechanical Properties |
Mechanical properties of hardness, tensile, compression and yield strength of forged Al are better than that of cast Al. |
|
| 4.Appearance |
After being sandblasted many times, forged Al mold can still remain smooth and uniform, but cast Al mold will be exposed with casting defects and thus leading to worse roughness. |
|
| 5.Service life |
Since the compactiveness and mechanical properties of forged Al is better than that of cast Al, forged Al mold has better scratch resistance, corrosion resistance and longer service life than cast Al mold. |

| 6.Manufacturing process |
Treads are machined by 5-Axis Machining Center or CNC EDM. |
